Are there any prerequisites for this training in BC?
There are no prerequisites for this course. It is designed to be accessible for everyone, from new parents to workplace responders, meeting the CSA Z1210 standard for Basic first aid training across Canada.
How does the 3-year certification process work?
Upon successfully demonstrating skills, attending 100% of the course, and achieving a 75% mark on the written knowledge evaluation, you will receive a 3-year digital certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR Level A or C.
How does recertification work in the Canadian context?
Recertification is available for current certificate holders. The renewal session takes approximately 4 hours in-class for Level A or 5 hours in-class for Level C, following the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
