Program Description
Following BC Ministerial Order 292, the scope of practice for EMAs has expanded. This course provides necessary training to lift license restrictions and operate under the new Schedule 1 and 2 standards. It is tailored for instructors and learners active in the First Responder and EMR communities throughout British Columbia. This EMALB approved program combines approximately 8 hours of online learning with at least 16 hours of hands-on skill practice, ensuring all practitioners meet the latest provincial educational requirements and eligibility standards for enhanced practice.
